At Chinjak we fed a diet of pellets that is specially mixed, depending on the age of the animal, for optimal growth.
Piglets are weaned at Chinjak Barn for rest and recovery. The piglets are then sold to other farms after 7 weeks of age.
Breeders of exotic breeds of Large white YORKSHIRE, DUROC, LARGE BLACK & HAMSHIRE. Establishment of our farms is since 2014 in Moidangpok, Manipur. From many decades pig farming are practiced in India in open range or in back yards by Pure breed pigs. Now we are practicing pig rearing with better quality exotic / cross bred pigs such as large white Yorkshire, Duroc & Hamshire in hi-tech procedure i.e. in compact sheds.
Of Experience
Pig are housed in sheds. Clean & sanitary conditions should be provided. Separate pens for adult male(Boar) adult female(Sow), growing (weaner) piglets and a furrowing pen.
